It was pulled from the appstore around the iPhone 4S era (if I'm remembering right) for reasons unknown

It was pulled because all iOS apps after a certain date had to be 64 bit apps. Rather than update the old app they pushed out Buildit.

Wasn't the app removed from the ios store for download a bit before that date though? I remember looking up and seeing from other users online saying to not reformat your device as it can't be re-downloaded, c2013 well before the 2015 64bit cutoff
